The site has a resolution to grant (subject to the signing of the S106 agreement) outline planning consent (planning reference: 1/0346/2017/ OUTM), with all matters reserved bar access, has been granted for development of up to 70 dwellings on the area outlined red, planning was granted by Torridge District Council on February 8th 2018. The site is located off Hatherleigh Road to the west of the historic Winkleigh village centre which is a short walk of about 500m. The site currently comprises of an industrial estate measuring 6.93 acres in total and slopes from north to south. As such the views from the site, south toward Dartmoor, are spectacular.
