There is no substitute for experience and Daniel has just that. Easily one of the most recognisable property professionals in the area. Renowned for his almost encyclopaedic estate agency knowledge Daniel heads up the sales department and specialises in valuing property of all styles across Newquay and Mid Cornwall. Daniel is a proud Cornishman and Newquay born. He grew up in the town centre and attended the local schools. He now lives with his wife and four children in St Mawgan. He loves village life but remains passionate about all things Newquay and the wonderful community which he loves to serve.
Andrew relocated from South Wales in search of the sun, surf, and the social culture of Newquay back in the early 2000’s. To this day he still maintains a passion for surfing and fitness in general, but over the years has established himself as a leading light in the local lettings market. Starting and growing his previous company iMove into one of Newquay’s most successful lettings agency’s before merging with Newquay Property Centre in March 2018. Andrew lives in Newquay with his wife and two young children.
Becky enjoys a mostly back-office role in charge of overseeing the smooth day to day running of the business. Her calm manner is perfectly suited to looking after such a busy office. Becky grew up in Porth and attended Tretherras School; her solid academic capabilities led her onto university which she graduated with a business-related degree. She first began working for Newquay Property Centre in 2006 before taking a break to have a family. When not at work she loves to walk her dogs on Porth Beach with her family, if her teenage children can be bothered to get out of bed.
Carly has been an active, yet rarely seen member of our team for several years now, working part time behind the scenes assisting with the general day to day running of the business. More recently Carly’s role has evolved to assist and meet demand in our ever growing and extremely busy sales department. Carly’s primary role is sales progression, but she is also key in helping to start our working week smoothly, often the one arranging viewings, providing feedback, and dealing with emails. Carly is very well known and liked locally with a wide circle of friends. She has her hands full outside of work looking after her young family.
Richard has estate agency in his blood following in the footsteps of his mother who worked at Newquay Property Centre for over 20 years until her retirement. He cut his teeth and learnt his trade working for a large local corporate agency before joining Newquay Property Centre in 2016. Richard is a natural born salesman and an extremely driven person, he loves nothing more than rolling up his sleeves and getting stuck in whatever the task may be, he works tirelessly for clients and will always go that extra mile. A dedicated family man Richard lives locally with his wife and two sons.
Alex has worked up through the ranks taking an apprenticeship in 2013 with a large local corporate agency, gaining various promotions up to Assistant Lettings Manager. He joined Newquay Property Centre in March 2018 and instantly made a huge impact. His calm, thoughtful approach means he never flusters and often finds quick solutions, perfect for working in lettings. Alex is a born and bred Cornishman and has lived in Newquay his whole life, whilst he does not look like your stereotypical surf dude, apparently, he is actually quite good and is often found “out back” at his favourite surf break: Fistral.
Danielle returned to Cornwall in early 2020 following 5 years of living and working in Gloucester for a high-profile Estate Agency. Her immense ability shone immediately, and now, several years later she has firmly established herself within not only Newquay Property Centre, but moreover the whole of the Newquay property market. Danielle grew up in Trewoon, where she met her husband. They were married in 2019 on Lusty Glaze beach, Danielle has always loved Cornwall’s beautiful coastline, so getting married on the beach was an easy choice and the perfect day. In late 2023 Danielle & her husband welcomed their first child into the world.
Originating from Scotland Emma came to Newquay after a fateful holiday romance with a Cornishman that lasted. Nearly ten years later Newquay is now very much home. Emma started her agency career with a national corporate agency, but much prefers the more personal approach that independent agency is renowned for. Emma’s limitless energy and infectious smile has made her an instant hit with the team and clients in equal measure. As our Senior Negotiator she is key to the overall success of our busy No.1 team.
Richard is the quiet man of the office, predominantly office based, he without fuss diligently gets on with ensuring managed properties are well maintained. If your property has a leaky tap, Richard will ensure it is fixed in no time. In addition, he assists Andrew and the rest of the lettings team on everything and anything lettings related. His attention to detail was previously honed working as a civil servant. Richard joined the team in 2011, and he has been an integral member ever since.
Rhys joined Newquay Property Centre in early 2024. Despite having no prior agency experience he has taken to the role like a duck to water. Rhys is a superb support to the senior sales staff and with our expert guidance is fast becoming a well-rounded estate agent. Rhys has a calm, thoughtful manner, and a maturity beyond his years. Previously he worked in hospitality, so has a strong ingrained ethos to provide the best customer experience possible which perfectly fits with our company culture. Rhys has lived in Cornwall his entire life originating from St Endellion, he now lives with his partner in St Columb.
Amy’s youthful looks belie her years of agency experience. Amy joined our team in 2019 following over seven years with another local Estate Agency. Amy has a calm, polite, yet knowledgeable manner and is tasked with office-based sales admin, such as arranging viewings, chasing feedback, and dealing with emails. Amy’s lovely character makes her a brilliant first point of contact to meet and greet any prospective clients. Amy lives in Newquay with her husband and two sons, family time is often spent seeing our wonderful coastline on long family walks.
Laura’s journey with NPC initially started as a Vendor when she sold her house through us in late 2023. Laura enjoyed the experience so much that when a role became available, she instantly applied, and we are delighted to have her. Laura is a Newquay local through and through who has worked in customer service and admin roles extensively for many years. Laura role at NPC is office based, supporting the sales, lettings and admin teams where needed, her friendly, caring, and conscientious manner is immediately apparent for all to see. We now feel our NPC jigsaw is complete.
Grace joined us in late 2024 and job shares on a part time basis with Laura. Grace has years of experience in administrative roles that fit perfectly with the needs of our busy office. We were instantly impressed with her calm demeanour and extensive administrative knowledge which meant she excelled in the role from the get-go. A Newquay girl, Grace grew up locally and attended Treviglas School, when not working with us she is also a part time Pilates instructor, teaching in a renowned local Gym. Grace loves to eat well, keep fit and work hard – putting the rest of us to shame.
